Performer Software was founded in 2001 to provide image management, and retail website solutions for the professional photography industry. The CMS (Content Management Systems) technology developed for the photographer's websites has been imported, and improved upon to allow businesses in every industry to have a well designed, highly functional, and very easy to use website for their for their customers/clients use.

The web has evolved 10 fold from its inception in the early 90's. "Having" a website is no longer a sign of success. Having an "exotic" looking website with gimmicks, bells and whistles, is no longer "in".

Consumers want to know that when they visit your website, they will be able to navigate quickly and efficiently. They want to get to the information (pages) they want to view with the least amount of "clicks".

Many web design/hosting companies have developed a revenue stream based on the number of pages you need in your website. We have taken a different approach. We know that once people get past your "main page", most of the additional pages are somewhat identical. That is not to say that a 10 page site has one main page style, and 9 identical pages, but, for the most part, it will probably have 3-4 different page styles.

Having evaluated "numerous" websites, we determined we could reduce our labor, and your potential costs in website development, by using our programming technology to duplicate the basic page layouts in a site, and leave the text and image areas available for you to populate.

Unlike other web design houses, we don't charge thousands to design your website, and we don't charge by the page, and we don't charge for every little thing you may need us to do, once or twice a year.

The major labor in a website is the constant updating of your information. You take care of that part youself, so we don't have to charge you to do it.
 

And, even if you only need our basic starter site that has 6 pages to start with, if you need another 1-2 pages, we will gladly add them for you.

We have reduced the labor required to add a page to a website, set up the navigation, and make it live. We can do it in a few minutes.

From our 10+ years hosting sites for our professional photographers, we have learned that most only need our help with updating their sites once or twice a year. They pay a small monthly fee just like you will do. Think of it as a "co-op" concept. You might pay us slightly more than you would if you could actually build your own website, or if you have one built and you only pay for the hosting, but we are here 360 days a year to help you for that small monthly fee.

Our concept has been working for those 10+ years. We have some photographers who have been with us from the day we started. There is plenty of competition in our markets. Our photographer customers tell us we have the best support in the industry, and they would never go anywhere else.
